EMMA BURKE

Hi! I’m Emma, a second-year undergraduate public relations student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications who loves the ever-changing world of beauty and fashion. I am drawn to this industry because of the versatility and unpredictability: nothing stays the same for long, and that’s what keeps me motivated.

At Syracuse University, I have had the opportunity to experience the communications industry firsthand through my work with Hill Communications. This past semester, I was an account associate on the Princeton Corridor Rotary Account where we completed a full website rebrand. Both my colleagues at Hill Communications and professors at Newhouse have given me the ability to tell meaningful stories and bring ideas to life.

I am proud to call Hershey, Pennsylvania my hometown (yes, where the chocolate is made). When I’m not working on campaigns or coursework, you can usually find me traveling to new places, experimenting with makeup, or keeping up with fashion. I love connecting with people and trying new things, and am thrilled to continue developing my professional career.
